How to Get Magmarizer in SoulSilver

The Magmarizer is an evolutionary item introduced in the fourth generation of "Pokémon" games for the Nintendo DS. When held by Magmar and traded, it evolves Magmar into Magmortar, just as the Electrizer evolves Electabuzz into Electivire. The evolution of Magmar into Magmortar increases the Pokémon's HP, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defense, but it also lowers its Speed. In "Pokémon SoulSilver," players can find the Magmarizer on Cinnabar Island, after obtaining the Rock Climb move.

     Obtain all 16 badges and fly to Pallet Town. Enter the Pokémon Laboratory and talk to Professor Oak to obtain HM08, which contains Rock Climb.

     Teach Rock Climb to a Pokémon in your party. If you do not have a compatible Pokémon, catch one that can learn Rock Climb, such as Geodude or Mankey, and teach the move to it

     Fly to Cinnabar Island. Look around until you spot a rocky path leading up the side of the cliff. Walk up to the path and use Rock Climb to reach the Magmarizer.
