How to Get a Lucky Punch for SoulSilver

The focus of "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS is to capture and battle creatures against each others in order to become the best trainer in the land. To give you an advantage in these battles, each Pokemon is able to hold one item that helps out in combat. The "Lucky Punch" item is specific to the Pokemon "Chansey" and increases the odds of getting a critical hit while fighting. You randomly find Chansey when encountering wild Pokemon, but there is also a sure way of acquiring this item.

Instructions

  Play the game until you have encountered and caught a Chansey. They sometimes swarm on Route 13 which gives you better odds of catching one or you can search for one in the Safari Zone. There is also a small chance of catching a Chansey along Route 15.

  Put the Chansey in your active party then travel to Route 14. Go up to the area where the grass is and use the "Cut" move to get past the tree.
- 3
  Talk to the person found here who asks to see Chansey. Show him your Pokemon and you receive the "Lucky Punch" as a reward.
