How to Tame the Griffin in Scribblenauts

The Nintendo DS game "Scribblenauts" allows you to bring your thoughts to life to complete a variety of puzzling tasks. Typing the name of an object into the game's notepad creates that object on the screen, so finding the solution to a puzzle is only limited by your creativity. In the game, you are even able to create mythical creatures, such as griffins. When they are created, griffins are vicious and will attack you on sight. If you tame a griffin, you are able to ride it.

Instructions

- 1
  Open the notepad and type "Griffin." A wild griffin appears on the screen. Get out of the way before the griffin sees and attacks you. Standing on ledges keeps you out of harm's way.

  Open the notepad again. Type the name of a food, such as "meat" or "fish." The food appears on-screen.
- 3
  Tap the food with the stylus and drag it to the griffin. The griffin eats the food. Repeat this two more times to make the griffin fall asleep.
- 4
  Tap the griffin with the stylus to wake him up. He is now tamed. Tap the griffin once more and select "Ride" to climb onto him.
