How to Get Giratina in SoulSilver

Giratina is a Pokemon that was originally only obtainable in Pokemon Platinum. Now, many players are desperate to find a way to capture Giratina in SoulSilver. Most want Giratina to complete a Legendary Pokemon collection or to include this Legendary in the team of Pokemon. Unfortunately, it is difficult, impossible for some, to obtain a Giratina without cheating. In order to get a Giratina, you must attend a Nintendo Event.

Instructions

  Find the Azure Flute you should have gotten at a Nintendo Event for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl players. In 2010, the Nintendo Event was held at USA and Puerto Rico Toys 'R' Us stores between November 7th to the 15th. If you missed this event, you obtain the Azure Flute by using Action Replay.

  Go to the Spear Pillar in Mt Coronet and take the Azure Flute with you. Spear Pillar is where you battled Dialga or Palkia. Take the stairs to go to the Hall of Origin. Save your game, battle and capture the level 80 Arceus. Consider using a Master Ball to ensure the capture of the Arceus.

  Put Pokemon Platinum in DS, and put Pokemon SoulSilver in another. Head to a Pokemon Center in both games and go upstairs. Talk to one of the ladies in both games. Once both characters are in the Union Room, which utilizes the DS's wireless routers, trade the Arceus to Pokemon SoulSilver.

  Set the Arceus as the first Pokemon in your party. Head to the Ruins of Alph Research Center, where you teleport to the Sinjoh Ruins. Talk to the Hiker, who takes you to Cynthia.

  Deposit all your Pokemon, except Arceus, into the PC nearby. Speak to Cynthia and she allows you to pick one of three legendary Pokemon. Pick the level 1 Giratina, which holds a Griseous Orb.
