How to Catch Snorunt in Pokemon Diamond

Snorunt is an ice-type Pokemon introduced in the advanced generations of Pokemon games. It can evolve into Glalie when it reaches level 42, or into Froslass with the use of a Dawn Stone. While Glalie has a uniform base 80 in every stat, Froslass has a much higher speed stat and slightly lower defenses, as well as a ghost typing. Snorunt's name is a combination of "snow" and "runt," referring to its small stature. In "Diamond," "Pearl," and "Platinum," players can only find Snorunt by using the PokeRadar.

Instructions

  See every Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex and fly to Sandgem Town. Enter Professor Rowan's laboratory and talk to Professor Oak to obtain the National Pokedex. Professor Rowan will subsequently give you the PokeRadar.

  Head to Route 216, Route 217, or the Acuity Lakefront. Enter the tall grass on foot and use the PokeRadar.

  Walk into a shaking patch of grass to find a wild Pokemon. If the Pokemon is a Snorunt, proceed to step 4. Otherwise, keep using the PokeRadar and walking into a shaking patch until you encounter a Snorunt.

  Weaken Snorunt in battle and inflict it with Paralysis or Sleep. Throw Poke Balls of your choosing at Snorunt until it is caught.
