Things You'll Need
Instructions
Place a soft cloth on a table. Open the Nintendo DSi's lid to reveal the top and bottom screen. Place the back of the bottom or top of the DSi, depending on which LCD screen is scratched, on the cloth.
Blow off the screen that has the scratch with a burst of compressed air.
Apply a dab of the polishing paste to the end of the cotton swab. Place the cotton swab against the screen, at one side of the scratch. Press down on the swab as you move it along the length of the scratch, depositing paste. Lift the swab off once the other side of the scratch has been reached. Place the swab in the trash.
Place the edge of a micro-fiber cloth against the screen at the same spot as where the swab was first placed.
Press down firmly on the edge as you rotate it in a slow circular pattern while dragging it over the paste, along the length of the scratch. Reverse direction when you reach the other end of the scratch. Continue to repeat this procedure an additional four times.
Lift the cloth off the DSi screen. Inspect the surface to see if the scratch can still be seen -- if so, repeat the procedure with the cloth another five times. Blow off the screen with a burst of compressed air.
