Nintendo released a new version of their handheld console, the Nintendo DSi, in 2008. Like any other gaming console, the hardrive can become cluttered or, if you purchased a used DSi, may already come with a full hardrive. Resetting and rebooting your Nintendo DSi hardrive will delete all personal data stored on the handheld, including any installed software, gaming updates and cheat codes.
Instructions
1
Turn on the Nintendo DSi.
2
Tap the wrench icon to enter the Settings menu.
3
Tap the right arrow three times.
4
Tap "Format System Memory."
5
Elect to delete all data and to return the console to factory settings.
