How to Get Pokedex Information on Gengar in Platinum

In the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon Platinum," you must find all 210 Pokemon creatures to complete the National Dex. The National Dex is a Pokedex that lists all the Pokemon in the Platinum game. Each time you find a Pokemon, its information is added to the Pokedex and you are one step closer to finding all the Pokemon in a game. The Pokemon called Gengar is one of the harder ones to add to the National Dex because it can be found in only one location in "Pokemon Platinum."

Instructions

  Go to Victory Road, which is actually a cave that leads to the Pokemon League in the eastern part of the Sinnoh Region. Take Route 223 from Sunnyshore City to get there.

  Go north over the wooden bridge. Once over the bridge, you will see an area below you.

  Use Rock Climb to descend to the lower area. Once you are down, turn left and you will meet the Psychic Bryce.

  Engage Bryce in combat. He has three Pokemon, including Gengar. Once he uses Gengar against you, the Pokemon's information will be added to your Pokedex.
