How to Earn All Characters in Super Mario Bros. 64

"Super Mario 64 DS" is a 3-D platform game, released for the hand-held Nintendo DS, in which you take on the role of Yoshi, who has been invited to Princess Peach's castle for a party, only to find his friends missing. To unlock the other three available characters in the game (Mario, Luigi and Wario), you must complete a few in-game tasks.

Instructions

  Earn eight stars, then go to the rec room in the castle's foyer and unlock the eight-star door. Defeat the Goomboss inside to receive the Mario key. Take this key to the Mario door in the rec room to unlock Mario.

  Travel to the "Big Boo's Haunt" sub-world as soon as you have access to it. Go to the third floor of Boo's mansion and jump into the painting of Luigi you find there. Defeat the Big Boo inside the painting to receive the Luigi key. Take this key to the rec room in the castle foyer and use it on the Luigi door to unlock Luigi.

  Play as Luigi and travel to the mirror room on the castle's second floor. Grab an invisibility flower in this room, and travel through the mirror. Jump through the painting of Wario on the other side and defeat the ice boss there to receive the Wario key. Take this key to the Wario door in the rec room to unlock Wario.
