How to Find Entei in Pokemon

Entei is one of three legendary dogs found in the "Pokemon" games series. Entei first made an appearance in "Pokemon Gold" and has gone on to feature in the third-, fourth- and fifth-generation "Pokemon" games. Entei is notoriously tricky to find and catch, as it has no set location. Instead, you must use your PokeGear to track this legendary Pokemon across the region. Finding Entei requires patience and a little bit of luck, but once you succeed, you can add this legendary Pokemon to your collection.

Instructions

  Complete the Burned Tower in Ecruteak City and you will see a short cutscene showing the three legendary dogs Entei, Raiku and Suicune scattering across the region.

  Look on your PokeGear for Entei's current location and travel towards that point while continuing to check the location on your PokeGear and moving toward the updated location.

  Use a Repel item to deter wild Pokemon. Repel is an effective way of preventing encounters with wild Pokemon, but it does not prevent encounters with legendary Pokemon such as Entei.

  Walk back and forth through the long grass in the area where your PokeGear says Entei is located, and eventually Entei will appear.
