How to Get Your Friend Code in Pokemon Black

"Pokemon Black" was released for the Nintendo DS in 2011. To play online against your friends, they must have your 12-digit Friend Code. This code can be found inside of the Pal Pad item in-game. The Pal Pad is given to you automatically once you have given the dream dust to Fennel in Striaton City. Once you have received the Pal Pad, accessing it will provide you with your Friend Code.

     Press "Y" to access the menu.

     Select "Bag."

     Select "Key Items."

     Select "Pal Pad."

   • 5

     Select "Use."

   • 6

     Select "xxxx's Friend Code," where xxxx is the name you have given your trainer. Your 12-digit friend code will then be displayed on the screen.
