How to Get Missed Pokemon Events in Pokemon HeartGold

Nintendo, publisher of "Pokemon HeartGold," occasionally holds special events for its current Pokemon games, during which an exclusive Pokemon is available for players to download into their game. As of the time of publication, Nintendo has not repeated any of these events, making it difficult to obtain the special Pokemon once the event has passed. However, lucky players may be able to find these special Pokemon up for trade in the Global Terminal.

Instructions

  Travel to Goldenrod City, marked on your in-game map. If you have not been here yet, play the game until the game naturally takes you there. You cannot reach Goldenrod City prior to the game taking you to it.

  Walk inside the Global Terminal. This is a building standing by itself in the far western side of the town, and its roof has an antenna.

  Walk to the Global Trade Station in the upper left-hand corner. Press "A" to access it.

  Search for the name of the special Pokemon you want. If any are available for trade, select one. The player who put it up will have a list of Pokemon he wants in exchange for his special one. If you have one of the required Pokemon, press "A" to trade.
