How to Find a Dragon Tail

"Pokemon White" and "Pokemon Black" were released for the Nintendo DS in 2011. TMs, or technical machines, are machines that teach a Pokemon a certain move and can be used repeatedly. TM82 teaches a Pokemon the move Dragon Tail. This move, when used during a trainer battle, knocks the current Pokemon away and causes another Pokemon from the trainer's lineup to appear in its place. When used in the wild, it causes the Pokemon to flee, ending the battle.

Instructions

  Travel to Opelucid City and enter the Opelucid City gym.

  Speak to the gym leader to begin the battle. The gym leader will be different based on your version of the game. In "Pokemon Black," the gym leader is Dreyden, while in "Pokemon White," it is Iris.

  Use ice or dragon-type moves against Dreyden or Iris's Pokemon. These moves are super effective against the dragon-type Pokemon both gym leaders use. Steel type Pokemon also work well, as dragon-type moves do less damage against them.

  Defeat the gym leader to gain TM82 automatically after the battle is over.

  Press "Y" and select "Bag."

  Select the "TMs and HMs" slot.

  Select "Dragon Tail" followed by "Use."

  Select "Yes" to teach Dragon Tail to a Pokemon. All dragon-type Pokemon are able to learn the move and will say "Able" next to their name. Press "A" on a Pokemon to teach it Dragon Tail.
