How to Find Move Tutors in Pokemon

Move Tutor 1

  Travel to Driftveil City.

  Enter the house on the western side of town. Speak to the man with the blue hair inside.

  Select a Pokemon to learn either Grass Pledge, Fire Pledge or Water Pledge. Only the three starter Pokemon, Tepig, Oshawoot or Snivy, can learn these moves.

Move Tutor 2

• 4

  Travel to Route 13, located east of Lacunosa Town.

• 5

  Enter the building located halfway down Route 13 and speak to the man at the north end of the building.

  Select a Pokemon to learn either Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon or Blast Burn. Only the fully evolved forms of the starter Pokemon can learn these moves. These Pokemon are Emboar, Samurott and Serperior.

Move Tutor 3

• 7

  Travel to Opelucid City.

• 8

  Speak to Iris or Drayden, depending on the version of the game you have, once either of them have been defeated in the Opelucid City gym.

• 9

  Select a Pokemon to learn the move "Draco Meteor." Only Dragon-type Pokemon are able to learn this move.
