How to Get to the Temple in the Forest of Death on Naruto: Path of the Ninja

Enter the Forest of Death after taking the first part of the Chuunin exam. It is the large wooded area -- the second largest area on the world map -- just outside of Konoha. Watch the long cutscene, then go forward from the beginning area. Head to the left to get Chakra Chinese Medicine Pills, then backtrack to the split in the road and head to the right. Jump to the first tree branch you see along this path to get Super Brand Food Pills.

Return to the main path by jumping back from the tree branch and continue walking along until you get to another branch -- jump to it for Super Heaven Armor. Go back down and head to the right, ignore the next branch and head to the northeast.

Continue moving along the linear path, ignoring all branches, until you get to the Falcon Claw. Backtrack to the second branch in this area and go down it. Walk down to the end of this path to get some Super Brand Versatile Pills. Backtrack to the fork and head right to find Toad Brand Food Pills.

Go back to the first branch and go down it, ignoring the first path. Go down the path until you find a Leaf Village symbol. Continue forward to find the Muramasa. Return to the Leaf Symbol and save for a cut scene.

Watch the cutscene that occurs, then allow the first battle to progress without doing anything as your characters are paralyzed anyway. Watch another cut scene, then battle Orochimaru. Watch the cutscene after the battle, then you take control of Sakura. Head back to the Leaf Village symbol to save, then progress forward to watch another cut scene.

Battle the Sound Ninja with Rock Lee. Use Sakura to keep the party's HP up, but don't use too much of her Chakra. Like the first battle in the area, you don't have any real control over this battle -- Rock Lee takes over to win it for you. Watch another cutscene, then battle the Sound Ninja for real this time. Another cutscene occurs and Shikamaru joins the battle.

Fight the Sound Ninja again, watch another cut scene, then fight them with Sasuke and Sakura. Watch Sasuke go berserk in yet another cut scene before the Sound Ninja run away. Watch the final cut scene for this portion of the Forest of Death, then head to the Leaf Village symbol to save.

Head toward the first path you see that leads down, and head to the northeast to leave the area and see another cut scene. Eventually, Kabuto, one of the other ninjas taking the Chuunin exam, joins the party and teaches you how to break rocks. Read the onscreen instructions to learn this skill. Go to the right and break the rocks to find a hard boiled egg. Leave the area.

Head to the right once the screen loads and break through the rocks using the new skill. Jump up to the first tree branch you see and head south. Jump to the next tree branch, then jump down to the ground floor. Continue down the path until you find a third branch, then jump onto it. Jump from this branch to the ground on the other side. Save your game and exit the area to see a cut scene.

Watch the cut scene, then battle the Rain Ninja with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. When the battle is finished, another cut scene occurs. When this is finished, head to the northwest to find a Leaf Village Symbol and two small chests. Open them, then head to the right to find a Ripped Scroll. Head east, then north to exit the Forest of Death. At the world map, move your knife to the area just to the northwest of the Forest of Death to get to the temple in the Forest of Death Tower.
