How to Reset the DSi

The Nintendo DSi was released in the United States in 2008. The DSi features many improvements over the Nintendo DS, such as the Nintendo DSi shop. A variety of games and applications are available to download from the shop that allow you to customize your DSi. To reset your DSi back to the factory settings, you will have to format the system memory from the main menu of the DSi.

     Turn on your Nintendo DSi.

     Tap the "System Settings" icon on the bottom screen of your Nintendo DSi.

     Tap the right arrow on the bottom screen of the DSi to scroll to the fourth page.

     Tap "Format System Memory" on the bottom screen.

   • 5

     Tap "Format." The DSi will be reset to the factory settings.
