How to Pass Level 5 in SpongeBob SquarePants:Truth or Square for the DS

Passing Level 5 in the video game, "SpongeBob SquarePants: Truth or Square," can make the difference between prematurely ending your game due to your inability to land on the platforms and successfully completing the game. Level 5 is a cavernous, underwater-set level where you must help your comic book superheroes, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, fight the evil-doers.

Instructions

- 1
  Attack the enemies on the circular platform by approaching them and pressing the A button. After defeating them, proceed to the conveyor belt filled with robots.

  Proceed forward -- fighting all enemy robots in your path -- until you reach the dead end. Approach the first locked cage to open it. Walk over the on-screen button that was enclosed by the cage, and then walk over the second button where the enemies previously were to reveal a new pathway.

  Walk up the new path and encounter another batch of robot enemies. Fight and defeat them, and then keep following the same path until you reach another dead end with another cage, featuring another set of two buttons and enemies. Finish the enemies off to unlock the two buttons and view a newly created pathway.

  Jump from platform to platform to access the next area. Follow the new path until you reach a door. The door leads to a pathway to the next section of Level 5.

  Pass through the doorway to access the underwater level, walk through the corridor and jump onto the cliff. Walk along the right path and visit the altar to trigger a short cut scene.

  Exit the altar to the left, and then jump onto the boat. Fight the enemies on the ship's deck by pressing the A button. Walk up to the cage to open it, and then hit the deck's ship wheel multiple times to move the ship and expose a new path.

  Jump onto the next ship, fight the enemies and then open the cage to expose another ship wheel. Hit the wheel four or five times and jump onto the next ship. Repeat the rotation on the ship one more time, and then jump onto the mountainous platform.

  Follow the path, while continuing to fight the enemy robots, and then turn the wheel again to activate an electrified path. Follow the path while jumping over the electrical currents. Spin the wheel at the end of the path to activate the next electrified path.

  Jump to the other platform and prepare to fight the enemy robots hovering nearby. Use your attack moves to defeat the robots emerging from the ground and attack. Focus on the smaller robots first because they are quicker, and then attack and defeat the bigger robots to successfully complete Level 5.
