How to Catch a Buizel in Pokemon Diamond

Buizel, a water type Pokemon, made his first appearance in "Pokemon Diamond," a 2007 release for the Nintendo DS. Buizel is one of the few Pokemon that, even though he is a water type, is able to be found in the tall grass like a normal Pokemon instead of fishing or surfing. Buizel is able to be caught in the same way as any other Pokemon found in the tall grass.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to Route 205, 213, 224 or the Valley Windworks. Buizel is able to be found at each location.

    • 2

Walk in the tall grass as random wild Pokemon attack you. Depending on the location, there is anywhere from a 4 to 35 percent chance the Pokemon attacking you is Buizel. On Route 205, you have the highest chance, 35 percent, of encountering a Buizel.

    • 3

Attack Buizel with your Pokemon until Buizel's health bar is in the red. His health is listed underneath his name, and his health will go red when there is under 10 percent remaining.

    • 4

Use a status move, such as Stun Spore, on Buizel. Any move that paralyzes or puts a Pokemon to sleep makes him easier to catch.

    • 5

Use the strongest Pokeball you have when attempting to catch Buizel. An Ultra Ball, available at any Pokemart in any city, works well. If the catching attempt is successful, the ball will click shut and Buizel will be added to your Pokemon lineup.
