How to Get the Falling Star Attack on Bowser's Inside Story

"Mario &Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story" lets you play both as the two heroes trying to control Bowser from the inside and Bowser as he tries to stop a hostile takeover of his castle. You'll unlock several special attacks along the way, the strongest of which is the Falling Star attack. This attack requires you to shoot stars at a larger star to increase its power. Once time runs out, the large star will attack any enemies on the screen. You'll have to find four Attack Pieces to unlock this attack.

Instructions

- 1
  Enter the garden for Peach's Castle by going all the way to the right in Toad Town. Go left onto a staircase and follow the walkway north for a few more screens. Turn right once you get to the courtyard and go up the steps. There will be a green flying monster. Ignore it.

  Go to the bottom of the screen and climb the steps. Jump from the top step to a pink walkway and go right into a small room. Go north out of the room and jump into the blue turtle shell on the left.

  Go left and throw the turtle shell into the Attack Piece to collect it. Three enemies will appear and try to extort 300 coins from you. If you give them the coins, they will highlight the locations of the remaining three Attack Pieces on your map. They will also tell you the remaining three Attack blocks are invisible.

  Jump down and go back to the left to enter the courtyard again. Travel left and jump onto the stairs at the bottom of the screen. Jump from there onto the green hedges and go north.

  Take a quick left while standing on the hedges, then go straight north. Take a very slight right and go up a few steps, then take another right. Go up two or three steps and jump up to get another Attack Piece. The block is invisible, so you may have to jump around until you hit the block.

  Drop down to the left and go north one screen. Jump onto the stairs, then north onto the pink walkway. Use the spin jump to go straight north and into a tower.

  Go right through a room and right again on the pink walkway. Jump up, then continue going right. Smash Mario with the hammer to shrink him down, then enter the small door to the north.

  Jump onto the platform to the north and jump onto the small gap in the wall. Go to the right three steps and jump up to get another Attack Piece. Go south and exit this room.

  Go to the left back into the small room in the castle, then go south to exit. Drop down and go to the left until you reach the wall. Go north and drill into the ground at the small opening to get to the other side.

  Jump onto the stairs to the north. You will see a pipe blowing steam. Have Mario breathe in the steam to inflate him. Float to the platform slightly to the northeast. Jump up to get the final Attack Piece. It will inform you that you have a new attack, the "Falling Star" attack.
