How to Unlock Dungeons on Explorers of Darkness

In "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness" your character explores several dungeons and caves for rewards that include items, special abilities and in-game money. Different dungeons are unlocked automatically as you progress through the storyline and defeat enemies. However, there are also cheat codes available to unlock dungeons earlier, letting you access specialty dungeons at any point in the game.

  Insert the Explorers of Darkness cartridge into your Nintendo DS and turn on the system.

  Load your game from the main menu.

  Select "mail" to see if you have any outstanding "jobs." As you progress with the storyline, different dungeon missions appear in your mailbox. You must open the "job" message and select "accept" to unlock these dungeons.

  Continue playing the game until you reach level 10. Once you reach level 10, you can enter cheat codes from the main menu. From here, you can unlock most of the dungeons in the game long before you are given the dungeon's required "job."

  Return to the main menu and enter the required code for the dungeon you want to unlock. A list of codes is found at GameFAQs or in the book "EZ Cheats: Multiformat Cheats." You can also use cheat codes to access special abilities. Some dungeon codes include "%H#N 33@F 66#5 6%CT 2H9W =4QF" for the Landslide Cave, "J6KR 2RRS FM33 KM21 TNT# SW#8" for the Midnight Forest and "3JY0#XHQRK173X4-SY1M+HHX" for the Golden Chamber of Hidden Land.
