How to Get to Do the Celebi Event for SoulSilver

In "Pokémon SoulSilver," Celebi is a legendary Pokémon that you can only obtain by downloading it from Nintendo. Celebi, a Psychic and Grass-type Pokémon, has the ability to travel through time, and it has been known to take people with it into the past. If you have a Celebi in your party, you will be able to activate the "Celebi's Time Travel" event in the game. This event lets you learn a bit more about the history of your enemy -- the leader of the nefarious Team Rocket.

  Travel to any town's Pokémon Center. Walk up to the PC inside and select "Withdraw Pokémon."

  Scroll to the box where you have stored Celebi. Select Celebi to put it on your team. If you already have six Pokémon, put one in storage to make a spot for Celebi. Move Celebi to the first position of your team.

  Go to Azalea Town and walk west until the path leads you to Ilex Forest. Walk down the path in the forest. At the dead end, you will find a shrine in front of you.

  Walk up to the shrine and press the "A" button to interact with it, activating the event. Your rival will appear and talk about Celebi's ability to time-travel.

  Watch the scene that unfolds as Celebi pulls you through time and then sends you back to the present. When you return to the present, you will be in a cave with Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket. Defeat him in battle to end the event.
