How to Catch Natu in SoulSilver

Natu is a Psychic- and Flying-type Pokemon introduced in the second generation "Gold," "Silver" and "Crystal" games for the Game Boy Color. Natu's abilities are "Early Bird," which allows it to recover more quickly from the Sleep status, and "Synchronize," which inflicts Poison, Burn or Paralysis on the opponent whenever Natu is afflicted with one of these ailments. Both Natu and its evolved form, Xatu, learn a variety of status and support moves such as "Calm Mind," "Wish," "Confuse Ray" and "Thunder Wave."

     Make sure you have at least five Poke Balls in your bag. Enter the Ruins of Alph from either Route 32 or Route 36.

     Walk around in the grass outside the ruins and a Natu will soon appear. Use weak attacks to lower Natu's HP into the red zone.

     Inflict Natu with either Paralysis or Sleep. Throw Poke Balls at the weakened Natu until it is caught.
