How to Get Riolu in Diamond

Riolu is a dark blue and black dog-like creature found in the Nintendo DS role-playing game, "Pokémon Diamond." To obtain Riolu in the game, you must assist a character named Riley to travel through a cave on Iron Island. As a reward, she will give you an egg, which when hatched reveals a Riolu. This Riolu is the only one you can find in the game.

Instructions

  Travel to Canalave City and go to the Pokémon Center. Access the computer and leave one of your Pokémon in storage so that you have an extra slot in your party.

  Make your way past the bridge and down to the docks. Speak to the sailor standing there; he will offer to take you to Iron Island on a boat.

  Explore the cave on Iron Island until you run into a person called Riley. You will notice that Riley's clothes match the colors of a Riolu. Answer "Yes" when asked if you want to travel with her.

  Make your way to the end of the cave, where you will encounter some Galactic Grunt enemies. Concentrate on attacking when the battle begins, as Riley will take care of healing your Pokémon.

  Accept the egg that Riley gives you after the enemies have been defeated. Keep the egg in your party while walking around; it will hatch into a Riolu.
