How to Reset a Pokewalker

"Pokemon SoulSilver" and "Pokemon HeartGold" are two Japanese role-playing video games released for the Nintendo DS in 2009. Along with a Pokemon figurine, people who bought the game also received a Pokewalker, which lets you take one of your Pokemon as you walk. The more you walk, the more experience it earns. Sometimes, it can experience glitches, and you will need to reset it to make it work again.

Instructions

      Load "Pokemon SoulSilver" or "Pokemon HeartGold" to the main menu.

      Select "Connect to Pokewalker." Answer the questions as normal until given the option to "go on a stroll."

      Press the "L," "X" and "Down" buttons simultaneously. Release the buttons to receive a warning about deleting all records from your Pokewalker.

    • 4

      Confirm the data deletion and continue through the questions until you receive a confirmation that you reset your Pokewalker.
