How Do We Get Yugi in Jump Ultimate Stars?

"Jump Ultimate Stars" is the second installment of a series of fighting games based on manga series from the Japanese manga magazine "Shonen Jump." The 2006 game for the Nintendo DS features popular characters from "Shonen Jump" titles such as "Naruto," "Bleach," "D Gray Man," "Death Note," "One Piece" and "Yu-Gi-Oh!" As you progress through the game, you have many opportunities to unlock more characters from these and other "Shonen Jump" titles. Yugi Mutou from "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is among the many characters who must be unlocked through gameplay.

Instructions

  Play through the game up to the point when you complete the tutorial. The first section of the game takes place on Earth; although you are technically completing missions, this essentially serves to acclimate players to the game.

  Start the first mission in the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" level in J-Space. The goal in this mission is to collect stars, but there are five layers to the mission. The first involves simply collecting more stars than your opponent.

  Complete the fifth target of the mission. To reach the target, you must collect all of the stars in the level within 30 seconds. This is somewhat challenging due to the presence of several enemies. Dispatch them and collect the stars as quickly as you can. If you succeed in collecting them within 30 seconds, Yugi is unlocked.
