How to Get a Green Orb in Pokémon SoulSilver Version

In the Nintendo DS game "Pokémon SoulSilver Version," capturing legendary Pokémon is often a trainer's greatest challenge. Hidden in caves and forgotten forests, these unique creatures are often difficult to find, and you'll sometimes need special items to get them. One such creature is the legendary Pokémon Rayquaza; to get it, you'll need an item called the Jade Orb -- sometimes referred to as the Green Orb. To get the Green Orb, you must first get the Blue Orb and capture two other legendary Pokémon: Groudon and Kyogre.

Instructions

  Gather all 16 gym badges from both regions in the game, and then travel to Mt. Silver to defeat Red, a very powerful trainer. His Pokémon are level 80 and above. Train your team as much as you can before challenging him.

  Go to Pallet Town in the Kanto region. Enter the laboratory and speak with Professor Oak to get a Kanto starter Pokémon.

  Put the Blue Orb in your inventory. You get the Blue Orb by speaking to Mr. Pokémon in "Pokémon HeartGold." Trade the Blue Orb to your "SoulSilver" game by selecting "Migrate from..." on the main menu. If you don't have "HeartGold," but you do have a cheat code device, there are various codes you can use to get a Blue Orb without trading.

  Place Kyogre in your Pokémon team. Kyogre is only found in "Pokémon HeartGold." You need to migrate Kyogre to your "SoulSilver" game file to use him.

  Go to Route 47 and enter the cave. Go down the first ladder you see and exit to the beach. Surf across the water to the west. Get out of the water and use the "Rock Climb" move to scale the wall.

  Enter the Embedded Tower, where the legendary Groudon awaits. Battle Groudon and capture him.

  Go to Pallet Town and talk with Professor Oak again. With both Kyogre and Groudon in your party, he will give you the Jade Orb.
