How to Find a Pikachu in Platinum

If you've recently started playing "Pokemon Platinum" for the Nintendo DS, you may be wondering how to find Pikachu, one of the most popular characters from the series. While Pikachu is fairly uncommon and you may have difficulty finding it, it is possible to get one in Platinum, one of the later versions of the game which Nintendo released in 2008. You can get a Pikachu by following a few simple steps.

     Go to Hearthhome City.

     Head south of the city on Route 212 until you reach the Pokemon Mansion.

     Go to the Trophy Garden in the mansion.

     Wander around the garden until a Pikachu attacks you, and use your Pokeballs to capture it after weakening it in battle.
