How to Put Music in R4DS

The R4DS is a storage device for the Nintendo DS hand-held games console. It consists of a game cartridge with an input for a microSD card. Using the storage space on the microSD card, transfer DS games, videos and music files to your R4DS card, and then play these files through your Nintendo DS. Most R4DS cards come with a USB card reader to make the transfer quick and easy.

Computer
R4DS cartridge
MicroSD card

Instructions

  Insert your microSD card into your USB card reader, and put the card reader into one of your computer's USB ports.

  Wait for the microSD folder to load up on your computer and choose to open it. Or, you can access the microSD folder through "My Computer."

  Open the folder which contains the music for transferring to your R4DS. Select the files you wish to transfer and drag them from their folder into the microSD folder.

  Remove the USB card reader from your computer. Remove the microSD from the card reader and insert it into the R4DS.
