How to Find Registeel in Pokémon Platinum

Most wild Pokémon in "Pokémon Platinum" are not difficult to catch -- requiring little more than a few Poké Balls. A few special Pokémon, however, present a challenge to even the most experienced player. One of these is the steel-type Pokémon, Registeel, which is part of a trio of legendary Pokémon called the Regis. Just like the other two Regis, Registeel hides deep within a cave, awaiting anyone who dares to confront it. To obtain Registeel, you must first have the Regigas Pokémon in your party.

  Go to the nearest Pokémon Center. Interact with the PC and select "Withdraw Pokémon."

  Scroll through the list of Pokémon available and select Regigas to put it in your party. Regigas is an event-only Pokémon that was given away at a special Nintendo event. It cannot be caught in the game. If you don't already have it, you'll need to use an Action Replay cheat device to get it.

  Go to Iron Island. Walk through the island until you reach the exit. Instead of going through the exit, walk through the hole in the wall. You will enter the Iron Ruins.

  Step on each of the dots on the ground. When you step on the last one, an earthquake will occur.

  Walk up to the statue in the front of the cavern. Press "A" to interact with it. Registeel will appear to battle with you.
