How to Get 100 Arceus in HeartGold

Set in the fictional regions of Kanto and Johto, "Pokemon: Heart Gold" takes the protagonist on an adventure to collect Pokemon and to become the best Pokemon trainer. Pokemonǭ, Arceus, is a Pokemon that is described in legends as shaping "all there is in this world," according to the Heart Gold Pokedex. Not all players will be able to possess Arceus, nor can players capture it in the wild in "Pokemon: Heart Gold."

Instructions

  Search the Serebii Events Database or the official Nintendo Pokemon web site to access information about upcoming events related to Pokemonǭ, Arceus. You must own "Pokemon: Pearl," "Pokemon: Diamond" or "Pokemon: Platinum" for the Nintendo DS. Take your system and game with you to attend the Pokemon event to receive Arceus.

  Enlist the assistance of a friend. Your friend must have another DS system. Insert your copy of "Pokemon: Heart Gold" into that system and turn the game on. Both players should earn the Pal Pad in Oreburgh City. Talk to the Oreburgh City Wi-Fi Club representative in the Pokemon Center to access it.

  Check your Friend Code. Press "X" to open Menu and then "Bag." Press "A" and select the key symbol to open listings of Key Items. Select "Pal Pad" and press "A." Press "A" to "Use" the Pal Pad. When "Code" is highlighted, press "A" to view it. You and your friend should exchange these codes.

  Enter your friend's Friend Code into your game. Repeat the process listed in Step 3. Instead of highlighting "Code," highlight "Register Friend Code" and press "A." Enter your friend's name and press "OK." Enter your friend's code and press "OK." Highlight "Yes" and press "A."

  Travel to any Pokemon Center. Your friend should do the same. Players should sit close in proximity to one another and speak to the Wi-Fi Club representative on the bottom floor of the Pokemon Center. Select "Yes" four times in a row to save your game and access the Wi-Fi screen.

  Highlight your friend's name in the Wi-Fi Screen and select "Invite" to invite your friend to trade. Select Arceus to trade. Select "Yes" when asked if you want to confirm the trade. Both players should save the game. A level 100 Arceus will now be traded to your copy of "Pokemon: Heart Gold."
