How to Draw Pokemon Ranger

In "Pokemon Ranger" for the Nintendo DS, you play as a ranger traveling the lands to capture Pokemon and use their powers to protect nature from evildoers. This 2006 title uses the handheld gaming system's motion controls by tasking you with capturing Pokemon with the stylus. You must use the pencil-like accessory to draw loops around the creatures to catch them, and you can level up your stylus (which is called a styler in the game) by capturing more Pokemon.

Instructions

    • 1

Walk up to a Pokemon on the screen to initiate a capture sequence. Your styler's hit points bar will appear at the top of the touch (bottom) screen showing the strength of your capture line. This number will increase as you catch more Pokemon.

    • 2

Place your stylus on the touch screen. This will make a Capture Disk appear where the stylus is located. Drag your stylus across the screen and you will see a blue line appear and trail behind the disk. This is the Capture Line.

    • 3

Draw a loop around the Pokemon with the Capture Line and Capture Disk. You will see a blue number appear above the Pokemon. This displays how many loops you must draw to capture it.

    • 4

Draw the required number of loops around the Pokemon, taking care not to touch previously laid lines or lift the stylus up off the screen during the process. Either mistake will break the chain and make you start over.

    • 5

Pick up the stylus after completing the required number of loops to catch the Pokemon.
