How to Unlock the Fourth Island in Pokemon Pearl

"Pokemon Pearl" gives players the opportunity to engage in a strategic trainer battles, gym leader duels and the catching and training of Pokemon. Although "Pokemon Pearl" game may conclude with the defeat of the Elite Four, you will not be a true Pokemon master until you have completed a series of island quests. In order to unlock and reach the fourth island, you must first complete the Sinnoh Pokedex.

Instructions

  Encounter all 150 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex at least once. Once you have encountered each Pokemon, its image and information will be stored in the Pokedex.

  Travel to Sandgem Town after you have all 150 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region recorded in the Pokedex. Find and speak with Professor Rowan. Halfway through the conversation, Professor Oak will appear to update your Pokedex to the National Pokedex.

  Select the "Map" menu after your conversation with Professor Rowan and Professor Oak. You should notice several new areas on your map that can now be explored: the four islands.

  Go to Canalave City and speak with the sailor next to the ferry dock. He will tell you that his son has fallen ill, and that for his son to be cured, someone must retrieve the magical item "Lunar Wing." The sailor will then ask if you would like to retrieve the item; select "Yes." Once you have accepted the mission, the sailor will sail you directly to the fourth island, Fullmoon Island.
