How to Evolve Kabuto in Leaf Green

In "Pokemon: FireRed" and "Pokemon: LeafGreen," Kabuto is a rock and water Pokemon. Unlike most Pokemon, Kabuto is resurrected from the Dome Fossil. You can find the Dome Fossil in Mt. Moon after you defeat the Super Nerd. You will have a choice between the Dome and Helix Fossil. While the Dome Fossil transforms into Kabuto, the Helix Fossil will produce an Omanyte. Kabuto evolves into Kabutops at Level 40.

     Insert the game cartridge and load your game.

     Take the Dome Fossil to the laboratory in Cinnabar Island.

   • 3

     Talk to the scientist to resurrect the Dome Fossil into Kabuto.

   • 4

     Use your Kabuto in battle until he gains enough experience to reach Level 40. Once Kabuto reaches Level 40, he will automatically evolve into Kabutops.
