Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend Cheats for Nintendo DS

Save Issues

• "Tomb Raider: Legend" automatically creates checkpoints throughout the levels so that if you die you can restart from that checkpoint instead of from the beginning. However, according to TombRaiders.net, these autosaves do not always persist after you turn off the game. If you don't have time to finish a level but don't want to lose your progress, pause the game and close your Nintendo DS to put it into hibernation, and then plug it into its charger so that the system doesn't lose power while you're away. When you're ready to resume, open your DS and unpause the game.

Controls

• Use the digital pad to move Lara, swing on ropes, or swing around horizontal bars. Press "A" to equip and fire your weapon or to shoot at a target in the environment and "B" to jump. When an "X" appears on your screen, it means you can use your magnetic grapple device. Press "X," and then use your digital pad to move left or right. Press "Y" to pick items up off the ground or to save yourself from losing your grip on a ledge if the "Y" button appears on your screen. Press "Y" and any direction to push or pull an object in the environment. Press the right shoulder button and "B" to roll in the direction Lara is facing, and press the left shoulder button to cycle through your weapon selection.

Touch Screen

• You can use the touch screen of your Nintendo DS to select items from your inventory. While in combat, enemies can appear on your touch screen. Tap them with your stylus to shoot them. Aim for the head to kill them instantly. To excavate archaeological rewards when available, you must tap or swipe the touch screen with your stylus or blow gently into the microphone.

Cheat Codes

• There are two cheat codes for the Nintendo DS version of "Tomb Raider: Legend." Before you can use them, you must beat the game, and then purchase the codes using the rewards you collected while playing. To unlock invincibility at any time during game play, hold the left shoulder button and press "X," "Up," "Y," "B," "Up" and "Right." To unlock infinite ammo, hold the left shoulder button and press "A," "Y," "X," "Up," "A" and "B." In each case, you'll hear a sound to verify that you entered the codes correctly. Note that while invincible, you are still susceptible to injury by drowning, freezing water, falling from a great height and other environmental hazards.
