How to Get a Treecko in Soul Silver

Treecko is a Grass-type starter Pokemon introduced in the third generation "Ruby," "Sapphire" and "Emerald" games. Treecko evolves into Grovyle at level 16 and into Sceptile at level 36. Treecko is the fastest of the Hoenn starters, and can learn a variety of useful attacks in its Sceptile form, such as "Giga Drain," "Leaf Blade," "Earthquake," and "Dragon Claw." In "SoulSilver," players can obtain Treecko after defeating the most powerful trainer in the game.

     Obtain all 16 badges and talk to Professor Oak to get HM08, which contains Rock Climb. Enter Mt. Silver from Route 22 and climb up the east path to reach Red.

     Use powerful attacks such as "Thunderbolt," "Flamethrower," and "Ice Beam" to defeat Red's team. Watch the credits, and continue the game.

     Fly to Saffron City and enter the Silph Co. building. Talk to Steven and choose the green stone to obtain Treecko.
