Amnesia Psyduck

• The amnesia attack is a powerful move used by Psyduck, but it is not available through normal game play. Collect all 151 Pokemon on the Nintendo 64. Once you beat the tournament, submit six of your Pokemon for the Hall of Fame. As a reward, you get a Psyduck with the Amnesia attack. Use the "transfer pak" to upload it to the Game Boy.

Easy Level Gain

• To level up a Pokemon quickly, put that Pokemon at the top of a list before a battle. Immediately pull that Pokemon out in exchange for another and proceed with the battle. When the battle ends, the screen will display the amount of experience points for the Pokemon in the fight. The Pokemon pulled from battle will receive the same amount of points as the Pokemon that actually fought.

Climbing Trees

• Climbing to the top of trees is one way to look beyond barriers. Equip a Pokemon with the cut technique, then locate a tree that may be chopped down. These trees are usually on the edge of forests or fields. Cut down the tree, and stand where the tree used to be. Save, quit and reload the game. When the game resumes, you will be standing on top of the tree. Walk in either direction to return to the ground.

Cloning

• Connect two Game Boys to initiate the trade screen. The first Game Boy should trade the Pokemon to be cloned. The second Game Boy should pick a Pokemon of no value to begin the trade. After the second Game Boy receives the desired Pokemon, the screen will display a "waiting" code. Shut off the first Game Boy. The second Game Boy should show the transfer is complete. Shut off the second Game Boy to end the transfer. Turn both Game Boys on, and the desired Pokemon will end up on both devices.
