How to Get Darkrai in Platinum

Pokemon Platinum is the third game in the Diamond and Pearl series and was released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS. The game stays true to past Pokemon titles and allows players to choose to play as either male or female. Darkrai is a special Pokemon that can only be caught if you have a Membership Pass from a Nintendo Event. Otherwise, to get a Darkrai you will have to trade for one with someone else that has one.

Instructions

- 1
  Attend a Nintendo Event. Have the employee download the Membership Pass into your game. You need this in order to get Darkrai.

  Go to Canaleave City.

  Go to the houses. In one of the houses, find a boy that is suffering from nightmares.

  Take the boat to Fullmoon Island and go into the Forest when you get there. You will find a Cresselia there. It will fly away when you approach it but leave one of its wings. Pick up the wing.

  Go back to Canaleave City and visit the boy. He will now get better.

  Go the Inn. It was locked before, but will now be unlocked. Talk to the man. He will tell you he has been expecting you. You will then go to sleep and enter a dream at Fullmoon Island.

  Go to the middle of the Island. You will discover Darkrai floating over a lake. Enter into battle with the Darkrai. It's level will be level 50. Use a Masterball to capture it or whatever other forms of Pokeballs you may have. Be sure that you are well stocked up on Masterballs, Ultraballs, Duskballs, etc.
