How to Record Using Dsi

The Nintendo DSi is the successor to Nintendo's other handheld gaming devices, the DS and DS Lite. Although they are all from the same generation of game consoles, the DSi includes some improvements including wi-fi access, a build in camera and the ability to record audio using the inbuilt microphone. There are also tools with which to edit the recorded audio to have fun and create interesting sounds.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the power button below the D-pad to turn on your DSi.

    • 2

Drag the DSi menu across with the stylus until you see the DSi Sound icon. Tap on it.

    • 3

Tap on the "Record and edit a sound" option.

    • 4

Tap one of the empty balloons from the menu to record a new sound, using the stylus.

    • 5

Tap "Record" to start recording. You can record up to 10 seconds of audio. To stop recording before 10 seconds is through, tap the "Stop" button.
