How to Get Past the Security Guards in FireRed

In "Pokemon FireRed," you must travel to each city in the Kanto region of the Pokemon universe to win all of the Gym Badges and become recognized as a master trainer. When you try to enter Saffron City for the first time, you are blocked by two thirsty guards. One of the guards demands a drink before letting anyone through the gate. Since you must go to Saffron City to complete your quest, you need to find a suitable drink to appease the thirsty guards.

Instructions

  Leave the guardhouse, taking the only other path available to you.

  Continue walking on the path until you enter Celedon City. Walk past the department store and enter the Pokemon Mansion on the right.

  Speak to the woman on the first floor. She gives you a cup of tea.

  Return to the guardhouse by following the previous route. Speak to one of the guards to give him the tea. After the guard drinks the tea, he moves out of the way.
- 5
  Walk past the guards and go through the newly opened path to enter Saffron City.
