How to Dig Underground on Fullmoon Island in Pokémon Pearl

"Pokémon Pearl" is full of quests that reward you with special Pokémon, helpful items and rare moves. Some quests are completely optional, but these often yield the greatest rewards. One such quest is digging in the Underground. Once you've obtained the Explorer Kit from Eterna City, you're able to go to the Underground any time you're outside in any location, such as Fullmoon Island. The Underground is an online mode in which you can connect with friends and hunt for treasures.

Instructions

  Go to Eterna City and walk east from the Pokémon Center. Enter the first house you see. Speak to the Underground Man inside to receive the Explorer Kit.

  Beat the game by defeating the Elite Four, as well as the current Champion. Fullmoon Island is not available until you complete this task.

  Go to Fullmoon Island. Open your item bag and select "Explorer Kit." When asked if you want to dig here, select "Yes."

  Look for treasures in the Underground by searching for yellow dots on the radar. When you find one, walk up to the correct area and press "A."
