Capturing Pokemon
You must use your stylus (or styler) to draw loops around Pokemon characters to capture them. Once you draw the first loop around a Pokemon look for a blue number above it. This shows how many loops you must draw to catch it. Do not pick up the stylus in the middle of this process or the loops will break. Pick up the stylus only after making the proper number of loops to catch the Pokemon. This also has to be done quickly as many Pokemon will break free from slowly-drawn loops.
Styler Level
Capture as many Pokemon as possible to make your styler more powerful and create opportunities to catch more difficult characters. Each catch will give the styler more hit points so it can take more damage during the capturing process. It will also increase the length of the "Capture" line so you can pull in more Pokemon.
Last Boss Battle
Rayquaza is the last boss. Rayquaza sends twisters and green orbs your way while moving quickly across the screen, giving you little time to draw loops around him. Use the Pokemon Gengar to create ghosts to trap Rayquaza and hold it in place. You must rapidly draw 14 loops around him. Once you capture Rayquaza the main story mode is complete.
Ranger Net Missions
This title includes levels called Ranger Net missions where you can capture rare Pokemon such as Mew and Celebi. Complete the story mode to unlock the first mission. The second mission is unlocked by finishing the first, and the third opens after the second mission is done. The fourth is unlocked with a secret password. Go to the Ranger Net menu and press and hold "R," "X," and "Left" to open the password screen. Enter the code "P8M2-9D6F-43H7" to access the mission "Manaphy Egg."
