How to Unlock the Questionnaire in Pokemon: Ruby Version

In "Pokémon: Ruby Version," it's your job to fill the Pokédex, which is a virtual encyclopedia with information about all the Pokémon in the land. Some Pokémon are so rare, however, that they are only made available through special Nintendo events. If you attend a Nintendo event, you must use the PokeMart questionnaire to receive the rare Pokémon there. The questionnaire is not locked in the game, but it may be difficult to find. Once you have correctly used the questionnaire, you'll be ready to get some rare, legendary Pokémon.

Instructions

  Start playing "Pokémon: Ruby Version" and load your game. Go to any town in the game that has a PokeMart.

  Walk into the PokeMart and walk up to the counter in front of you. A small piece of paper is placed on the counter.

  Press "A" while standing in front of the paper; you will be informed that it is a questionnaire. Select "Yes" to fill it out.

  Choose the words "Link," "Together," "With" and "All" from the word list. When you have selected all four words, choose "Yes" to enter them. The PokeMart cashier will activate Mystery Gift for your game, and you will now be able to receive special Pokémon from Nintendo events.
