How to Get the TM Dragon Moves in Pokemon HeartGold

"Pokemon HeartGold" was released for the Nintendo DS in 2010. TMs, or Technical Machines, are used to teach Pokemon moves that they may not otherwise learn. These machines are only able to be used once, at which point they disappear from your inventory. "HeartGold" has two TMs that teach Dragon type moves: TM02 Dragon Claw and TM59 Dragon Pulse. Both moves cause heavy damage to an opposing Pokemon and should be acquired as soon as possible.

Instructions

TM02 Dragon Claw

  Travel to Route 27.

  Use the Pokemon move "Surf" to travel south from the bridge until you reach the whirlpool.

  Use the Pokemon move "Whirlpool" to enter the whirlpool. Surf over to the small island to your left.

  Press "A" next to the Pokeball behind the trainer to receive TM02 Dragon Claw.
TM59 Dragon Pulse

  Travel to Blackthorn City.

  Enter the Blackthorn City Gym, located at the north end of town.

  Defeat the gym leader, Clair. Clair uses Dragon type Pokemon, which are weak to Dragon type attacks and do less damage against Steel type Pokemon. Use your strongest Steel and Dragon type Pokemon to defeat her. Once Clair is defeated, she will give you TM59 Dragon Pulse.
