How to Put in a New Game ID for Action Replay for Pokemon Platinum in USA

The trainer ID in your copy of "Pokémon Platinum" is set when you begin the game and type in your name. If you use an Action Replay, you can create Pokémon that have different trainer IDs or you can even change your own trainer ID. This can be useful if you are trying to win a certain prize in the weekly lotto, as your chance of winning increases if you have Pokémon with different trainer IDs.

  Place the Action Replay device into the cartridge-slot of your Nintendo DS.

  Insert your copy of "Pokémon Platinum" into the Action Replay.

  Turn the system on and press "start" to begin entering codes for Action Replay.

  Enter the following code:

  You can replace "xxxx" with any set of four characters you want. Enter different combinations of characters to receive different trainer IDs.
