How to Get Absol in Pokemon Pearl

Absol is a Pokemon with extremely high attack, but players will need to defeat the Elite Four before the Pokemon can be found. The Elite Four can be found in Victory Road and, when defeated, will unlock "Swarm Pokemon" events. In these events, a certain type of Pokemon, such as an Absol, swarm an area. These are the only times these Pokemon can be found. Only one event happens per day, but the event lasts the entire day. To catch an Absol, you'll need to check which swarm is occurring every day.

  Fly to Sandgem Town. You will need to talk to Rowan's assistant's sister in the southeast area of town.

  Enter Rowan's assistant's sister's house, which is located in the southeast part of the town. It is the building directly southeast of Rowan's lab.

  Talk to the sister, who is the only girl in the room. She will notify you of the "Swarm Pokemon" event occurring. Do this everyday until she notifies you that Absol is swarming Route 213.

  Travel to Route 213 when Absol is swarming the area.

  Walk around until you receive a Pokemon encounter. You will have a 40% chance of the encounter being an Absol, so you should find him within a few minutes.

  Capture the Pokemon by lowering its health and throwing a Pokeball at it. You will now have control of the Pokemon for the remainder of the game, unless you release it back into the wild.
