How to Get More Backdrops for Soul Silver

In Pokemon Soul Silver, you can receive different backdrops for the PC by talking to the person in the upper-right corner of the Pokemon Center in Violet City. You will need to enter different phrases to receive the backdrops, but these phrases differ from game to game, depending on your Trainer ID. Thankfully, there is an online application that will derive these phrases based on your Trainer ID and which version of the game you have.

Instructions

  Place your copy of Pokemon Soul Silver into your Nintendo DS and start the system. Press "Start" when prompted at the title screen and select "Continue" to begin the game.

  Press "Start" to bring up the menu. Select Trainer Card to view your name and Trainer ID.

  Go to www.filb.de/games/tools/aikotoba and enter your name and trainer ID. Select the version of the game you own, in this case Soul Silver. Press send.

  Travel to Jubilife City and go to the third floor. Talk to the TV producer in the southern part of the third floor and enter the corresponding secret phrases to receive your backdrops.
