How to Revive Fossils in HG/SS

In the Pokemon universe, fossils are preserved remains of prehistoric Pokemon such as Kabuto, Omanyte and Aerodactyl. By presenting fossils to the appropriate in-game character, players can revive these preserved remains into Pokemon that can then be raised and used in battle. In the "HeartGold" and "SoulSilver" games for Nintendo DS, players can revive the fossils they have uncovered from within the Ruins of Alph by talking to a certain scientist in the Kanto region.

     Defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion. Head east from New Bark Town and pass through Tohjo Falls to reach the Kanto region.

     Defeat the gym leaders of each city until you reach Pewter City. Make sure you have a free slot in your party and enter the Pokemon Museum.

   • 3

     Speak to the scientist and select the fossil you wish to revive. Exit and reenter the building and speak to the scientist again to obtain a revived Pokemon.
