How to Revive a Fossil in Soul Silver

In the Pokemon games, fossils are special items first introduced in the "Red," "Blue" and "Yellow" versions of the popular franchise. In "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS, players can find fossils by using the Hidden Machine move "Rock Smash" on the fractured rocks scattered throughout the Ruins of Alph. Players can then revive the fossils into ancient Pokemon such as Lileep, Cranidos and Aerodactyl by giving them to a scientist in Pewter City.

Instructions

  Beat the Elite Four and Lance, and watch the credits. Surf east from New Bark Town and cross Tohjo Falls to enter Kanto.

  Beat each town's gym leader until you arrive at Pewter City. Enter the large building in the north side of the city and talk to the scientist. Select from the menu the fossil you want to resurrect.

  Make sure you have fewer than six Pokemon in your party. Leave and reenter the building and talk to the same scientist as before to receive a Pokemon revived from the fossil.
