How to Get, Fly or Surf Pikachu in the Pokewalker

You can gain access to many Pikachu that have special moves including Pikachu that fly and surf, with the use of a Pokéwalker. A Pokéwalker is a device used to interact digitally with Pokémon that can be transferred to your Pokémon DS games. A Pokéwalker is included with the Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver DS games. You can unlock and receive many Pikachu in your Pokéwalker by gaining access to the "Yellow Forest Route," which can be completed successfully with the steps below.

Instructions

  Insert your Pokémon HeartGold game or Pokémon SoulSilver game into your Nintendo DS and turn on the console.

  Choose the "Mystery Gift" option on the main menu of your Pokémon game and then choose "Receive Gift."

  Scroll to the option that reads "Get Via Nintendo WFC" and then choose "Yes." Wait a moment for the "Yellow Forest Route" map to download to your Nintendo DS.

  The Yellow Forest Route is a land dedicated to Pikachu.
  
  Obtain the "Yellow Forest Route" map by going to any Pokémart in the video-game, confronting the green deliveryman standing by the Pokémart counter, and accepting the map.

  Save your game.

  Select one of your Pokémon characters to help connect your Pokéwalker.
  
  Choose the option "Connect to Pokéwalker" on your Nintendo DS's main menu and then choose one of your Pokémon from the Pokémon Center box to fully connect the Pokéwalker to your DS.

  Choose the "Yellow Forest Route" map on the main menu.

  Gain access to many Pikachu, just like the one in the Pokémon anime.
  
  Insert your Pokéwalker device into the fitted slot at the rear of your Nintendo DS to access the "Yellow Forest Route" and to receive access to a land with numerous Pikachu. The Pikachu will have special moves and can be seen flying and surfing.
