How to Get a Lapras in Leaf Green in Team Rocket's Lair

Using the Surf ability, the Water and Ice Pokemon Lapras can transport trainers across "Pokemon Leaf Green's" Kanto region. It also learns powerful Water and Ice moves, such as Hydro Pump and Sheer Cold at higher levels, making it an asset for difficult Pokemon battles. Trainers can't capture wild Lapras until they defeat the Elite Four; however, they can obtain one from the Team Rocket-controlled Silph Co. Building of Saffron City.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the Silph Co. Building. Head to the fifth floor to obtain the Key Item, "Card Key." The Card Key unlocks the doors located in the building. Use the elevator on the first floor to go to the fifth; walk left to encounter and battle a scientist. Walk down to encounter a Rocket battle. Win the battle, then head right from the defeated Rocket to find the Card Key. Gather any other items left behind in Pokeballs before heading back to the elevator.

  Go downstairs to the fourth floor, walk down and head left. Walk up into a cubicle and unlock the gate in front of you. Battle the scientist and step onto the warp on the northeast side of the room. Warp to the sixth floor. Battle the scientist south of the warp room, and then gather any other items nearby.

  Head south to encounter and battle the next Rocket grunt. Walk northeast to battle another Rocket grunt and head inside the elevator. Take the elevator to the third floor and walk down to encounter another member of Team Rocket. Battle him, walk left to unlock a door and step onto the warp pad to warp to floor seven.

  Head into the next area to battle your "rival." Use Pokemon with a type advantage against your rival's Pokemon; his Pokemon types range from Flying, Psychic and Fire to Water, Electric, Grass, Poison and Normal.

  Walk down past your rival to find a man near a desk. Talk to him to receive a Lapras.
